Abstract
Aimed at the defects such as low production rate and material utilization,underfilling of the free-forging and die-forging of the control arm,the process of roll forging for rod blank and die forging was proposed.By designing the size parameters of each working step for rolling forging,the 3d geometrical model was constructed.The forging processes was simulated by using the software of Deform.The change patterns of velocity field,forging load,effective stress field and effective strain field of roll-forging and die-forging were analyzed.The result shows that the process of roll forging for rod blank and die forging can obtain the forging with good quality,and this method increase the material utilization and production rate.
