Discussion of pressure test for external pressure vessels

Abstract
The basis of static pressure test for vessels under external pressure and vacuum vessels being done with internal pressure is elaborated. According to this rule, for jacketed vessels, there are always some problems during testing for the inner vessel. Existing problems are discussed and a corresponding solution of testing for external pressure vessels is suggested.
