A Research about Fan Family of Dunhuang before the Tang Dynasty

Abstract
Fan family was one famous noble family of Dunhuang,the family moved to Dunhuang since Fanxiong period of the Western Han Dynasty and expanded in the area after that time.Han dynasty was a growing period to the Fan family,the family character was formed in this time.Being a special period,Jin dynasty and Liang dynasty provided a space to the members of Fan family for they showing their talents,and they acted most actively in that time.The Fan family disappeared gradually from our view in Southern and Northern Dynasties.
