Abstract

The aesthetic thought of Zhuang Zi,based philosophically on Lao Zhuang's cosmic ontology and evolutionism of all things,has its distinct and unique style,which has exerted a significant impact on the history of the ancient Chinese aesthetics.This paper attempts to comment on Zhuang Zi's aesthetic thought in line with Lao Zhuang's philosophy.
