Abstract

[Objective] The research aimed to prove up the reactivity of flue-cured tobacco to drought stress with different degrees in maturing stage.[Method] Under potted planting conditions, the effects of drought stress on the chlorophyll content,NR activity,CAT activity and POD activity in flue-cured tobacco in maturing stage were studied.[Result] The results showed that under the drought stress conditions in maturing stage, both chlorophyll content and NR activity decreased along with the increase of drought degree and drought time. The higher the drought degree was,the faster they decreased;the longer the drought time was,the greater the decrease was.CAT activity and POD activity were firstly increased and then decreased along with the increase of drought degree and drought time. And the higher drought degree was,the more obvious the trend was.[Conclusion] The research provided theoretical basis for drought-resistance and water-saving irrigation of flue-cured tobacco and for increasing the yield and quality of tobacco leaves.
