Abstract
Lauryl phenylacetate was synthesised from phenylacetic acid and lauryl alcohol by the catalyst of solid superacid SO_4~2-/TiO_2.The effects of raw materials mole ratio, reaction time and amount of catalyst on the yield were investigated. The optimum conditions are as follows:the mole ratio of alcohol to acid is 3.0∶1,the amount of catalyst is 5%,reaction time is 3 h.The esterification is over 90.8% under the optimum conditions.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
