Abstract
[Objective]The desert Tamarisk chinensis characteristics of biomass in Tarim River were studied.[Method]The study was conducted research on biomass of desert Tamarisk chinensis, and samples collected under different coverage, the aboveground, underground biomass distribution were analyzed. [Result](1) Tamarisk chinensis aboveground biomass increases with increasing coverage increases.(2) With standard strains of aboveground biomass of Tamarisk chinensis as x,underground biomass for y,the allometric equation was: y = 5. 517 7x0. 834 6(R2= 0. 820 8).(3) Plant height and diameter have a very strong positive correlation with aboveground biomass. Biomass with crown width correlation is significant at the 0. 05 level. [Conclusion]The study provides a theoretical basis and data support for the valuation of ecosystem services.
