Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detecting serum lipase on diagnosis of acute pancreatitis, and elevate the effect of serum lipase detection combined with amylase in diagnosis of patients with acute pancreatitis (AP). Methods In 61 cases of AP patients, 64 cases of non AP patients, 120 cases of healthy volunteers, serum amylase, serum lipase were detected respectively. Moreover, the sensitivity, specificity and preciseness of two substances to acute pancreatitis were compared. Results The sensitivity, specificity and preciseness of serum amylase to acute pancreatitis was 80.3%, 82.8%, 81.6%. The sensitivity, specificity and preciseness of serum lipase to acute pancreatitis was 88.5%, 87.5%, 88%, the sensitivity、specificity and preciseness of serum lipase combine with serum amylase to acute pancreatitis were 100%, 92.6%, 96%. Conclusions It is useful to detect serum lipase in diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. Moreover, detection of serum lipase associated with serum amylase have more values in rapid diagnosis and efficient prognosis of patients with acute pancreatitis.
