Abstract
Objective To research thoracolumbar burst fracture of vertebral body imaging methods. Methods A retrospective study from January 2002 to May 2009 our department were treated thoracolumbar(T12L2) vertebral burst fracture were 60 cases of the X-ray,CT,MRI.Results Alone X-ray diagnosis of thoracolumbar burst fractures very easily lead to underestimation of the severity of fracture,or even misdiagnosis. The group burst fractures were misdiagnosed as compression fracture in 6 cases,3 cases were misdiagnosed as fracture and dislocation. Conclusion The diagnosis of spinal burst fracture should be based on X-ray,CT and MRI comprehensive diagnosis, eachother, and according to the specific circumstances of earch case and the hospital choose the right equipment to make the right diagnosis and timely inspection methods.
