Abstract

Maxwell-Garnett theory on effective electromagnetic parameters of composite materials was used to establish electromagnetic model of human tissue.Conductivity and dielectric parameters of the model were considered to calculate absorption and reflection characteristics of human body when it exposured to different frequencies electromagnetic fields. The results show that absorption and reflection characteristics of human tissue exposure to different frequencies electromagnetic waves depend on the electromagnetic parameters of human tissue and the characteristics of electromagnetic field itself. The body′s specific absorption rate of electromagnetic fields was calculated. The study laid a theoretical foundation to determine exposure limits of health standard on electromagnetic radiation.
