Abstract
The dam in Certain Reservoir is a homogeneous earth dam,and back is the type of sand dam,The dam is contructed by step with different methods.Since the dam is located at seven degree earthquake area,it is very important to evaluate the dam's anti seismic stalility.With the analysis on the earthquake danger of the reservoir and the analysis on the two dimensional and three dimensional earthquake reaction of the dam body,the conclusion is as follows:As for the main dam and north secondary dam,under the effect of earthquake,there are liqucfaction areas,cracks,and local upheavals on the dam,but the whole dam is stable. Under the effect of earthquake,the slope of south secondary dam is in the unsafe conditions due to the existence of and layer in the dam foundation,therefore,it needs to be reinforced.
