On Making Multimedia English Teaching Courseware

The paper discusses some problems in making the multimedia courseware. At first, from the point of the computer based multimedia technology, it has the necessity and superiority to apply the multimedia courseware to the traditional English teaching methods. Then it analyzes some problems that the multimedia courseware brings about at present. Finally, it points out that producing the multimedia courseware should be based on constructivism, adopt software engineering method and use various kinds of development tools flexibly so that the high quality multimedia courseware can be made. One example is also presented to show how to make it.
