Abstract
Eighty-eight sera samples from the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma have been examined for the antibodies: EBV-VCA IgA, EBV-VCA IgG, EBV-MA IgA and EBV-EA IgA, The positive rates for these antibodies are 85.2%, 62.5%, 63.6% and 65.9%, respectively. While 10 sera samples of normal subjects are negative for all four kinds of the antibodyWe suggest that the specificity to both antibodies of EBV-VCA IgM and EBV-MA IgA and their correlation with nasopharyngeal carcinoma should be studied further in future.
