Abstract
RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) technique was used to detect the genetic diversity of 35 cotton cultivars including transgenic insect resistant from China,America,Fraence and other countries.The results indicated that 35 cultivars could be divided into seven subgroups based on cluster of RAPD fingerprinting of each cultivar amplified with 16 random primers,which is also valuable in the choice of parents for the development of cotton cultivars and hybrids.
