Design for Structure Composition in Overhauling Expressway Pavement

Abstract
Taking the pavement overhaul of Tongchuan-Huangling Expressway in Shaanxi Province as an example,by describing the design concept of pavement structure composition,it is illustrated that the choice of structure composition in overhauling expressway asphalt pavement should be based on the investigation of status and diseases of existing asphalt pavements.The design is conducted according to road status,major diseases and characteristics of overhaul,the scientific and economic pavement is put forward,which has a certain reference value for similar projects.
