Abstract

Objective To explore the applied conditions and advantages of multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) in medical experiments. Methods To compare the results of MANOVA and univariate analysis of variance(UANOVA or ANOVA) which were analyzed from the same data. Results Different results will often be gained when applying using ANOVA to analyze the different indicators, which means getting the unified conclusions, but MANOVA can revolve this problem. Conclusion It is more reasonable, reliable and easy to explain the results when applying MANOVA ,especially comparing several groups in medical experiments.
