Abstract
Various possible types of dehydration of hydrated salt (Na2SO4·10H2O,CuSO4 ·5H2O,Na2S2O3·5H2O ) have been studied by means of on line Differential Thermal Analysis and Thermogravimetry(DTA / TG) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC).The experimental results showed that there is two different type of dehydration for studied salt. In one case, the hydrated salt loses water vapordirectly, and in the other case, which loses liquid water first and then the losing water is transformed into vapor. For those cases were discussed in terms of thermodynamics.
