Abstract
Objective To analyze the composition law and medication characteristics of proprietary Chinese medicine for coronary heart disease(CHD)in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010edition.Methods Sixty-eight proprietary Chinese medicines for CHD in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010edition were collected.The individual herb,drug pairs,Chinese types medicinal,functions,indication patterns of proprietary Chinese medicine were analyzed.Results Totally 111individual Chinese herbal drugs were involved in 68proprietary Chinese medicines for CHD.The top 3frequently used Chinese herbs were Danshen(Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae,32),Sanqi(Radix et Rhizoma Notoginseng,20)and Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuan xiong,20).The top 3frequently used drug pairs were Danshen-Chuanxiong(15),Chuanxiong-Honghua(Flos Carthami,12) and Danshen-Sanqi(12).There were 16types of Chinese medicinal were used.Deficiency-supplementing medicinal(24)was most frequently used and blood-quickening stasis-transforming medicinal(17)was followed.The major functions of 68proprietary Chinese medicines were blood-quickening stasis-transforming,qi-moving blood-quickening,qi-boosting blood-quickening and qiboosting yin-nourishing blood-quickening.The major indications of 68proprietary Chinese medicines were heart blood stasis obstruction pattern,qi stagnation blood stasis pattern,qi deficiency blood stasis pattern and qi-yin deficiency blood stasis pattern.Among 68proprietary Chinese medicines for CHD,there were 56compound preparations,5single herbal medicines and 7effective active ingredients.Conclusion The therapeutic focus of proprietary Chinese medicine for CHD in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010edition is quickening the blood and transforming stasis and then supplementing deficiency,regulating qi,opening the orifices,clearing heat,quieting the spirit,warming the interior and reducing phlegm.
