Water-saving Agriculture is the Inevitable Selection for Sustainable Development of Datong District’s Economy

Nine out of ten years are droughty,spring drought occurs in every year in Datong District,and the shortage of agriculture water resources brings very unfavourable impact to Datong’s agriculture development and income-increasing of peasant.This article analyzes the necessity and feasibility to implement effective water-saving agriculture in Datong District,introduces the practice and effect of water-saving agriculture construction,and aiming at the factors that restrict the sustainable development of water-saving agriculture,puts forward some correspounding countermeasures.
