A Study on the Education Issue of Children of Foshan Migrant Workers

Based on the field research data of 2010,it is found that there are many problems in the education of children of Foshan migrant workers.For external factors,they are:high standard for free-entry of compulsory education,low government propaganda,financial pressure in public schools,limit support for private schools,relatively poor teaching quality,etc.For internal factors,mainly from the civilization of migrant workers,limit family education support,low income,etc.So,for the next step,enrollment system for migrant workers' children should be adjusted to provide fair competitive environment,running schools by social resources should be encouraged to improve education assistance system for migrant workers' children,and mental health of children of migrant workers should also be emphasized to find out countermeasure.
