Abstract

Objective To study the susceptibility of beta cypermethrin-resistant Musca domestica to common used insecticides and supply evidence for using insecticides reasonably. Methods Topical application method. Results The housefly's resistant ratios to clorpyrifos, propoxur, beta cypermethrin, allethrin, cyhalothrin,DDVP folds respectively were 0.85,8.75,153.79,35.59,679.71,0.09 respectively. Conclusion If the housefly yields resisitance to beta cypermethrin, exchanging or mixing used of organophosphate insecticdes may be a better method.
