Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To determine the contents of several chemical constituents in Aglossa Dimidiata(Sanye Chongcha in Chinese). METHODS: The contents of total sugar, total flavonoids and total saponins in Sanye Chongcha were determined by visible differential spectroscopy, and the contents of crude protein and inorganic ammonium were determined by nitrogen determination method. RESULTS: The contents of total sugar, total flavonoids and total saponins, crude protein and inorganic ammonium were 9.51%, 1.74%, 1.81%, 12.04% and 0.45% respectively. CONCLUSION: The determination method applied is accurate, reliable and reproducible, and it is applicable for the quality control of Sanye Chongcha.
