Abstract
With the rapid growth of production in China, a large amount of hazardous wastes is produced every year and their management and disposal is becoming an increasingly serious environmental problem. In this paper, the regulations and solutions of hazardous waste management in China and the USA were compared and discussed. The typical incineration process for hazardous wastes was introduced and the incinerators generally used for hazardous wastes were described. In addition, the influence of the emissions from the hazardous waste incineration on the environment was discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
