Abstract
Objective To study the clinical significance of D-dimer and nitric oxide levels in patients with pregnancy-in-duced hypertension(PIH).Methods D-dimer and NO levels of 61 women with PIH,27 normal pregnant women and nonpregnant women were measured. Results D-dimer level in patients with PIH was significantly higher than those in normal pregnant women(P0.01).The higher D-dimer level is,the more severe PIH is.NO level was significantly lower in patients with PIH than normal pregnant women(P0.01).There was no obvious correlation between NO level and severeness of PIH.Conclusion The tendency of increased D-dimer level and declined NO level may play a role in the pathogenesis of PIH.
