Combination use of telmisartan - hydrochlorothiazide in treatment of hypertension

Abstract
The combination use of antihypertensive drug is currently widespread in the treatment of hypertension.Telmisartan has the advantage of more efficacy,longer half life,and additional activate peroxisome proliferators - activated receptors.A large amount of studies showed that combination use of telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide or use of telmisartan - hydrochlorothiazide fixed capsule may be superior to telmisartan alone or combination use of other angiotensinⅡreceptor 1 antagonist and hydrochlorothiazide in the treatment of hypertension.
