From the Alliance Innovation to the Independent Innovation: Evolution of Overtaking Manner of Late-developing Technology

The overtaking manner of late-developing technology is divided into two: the alliance innovation and independent innovation,but the specific mode depends on the technical capacity of the developing enterprises.Enterprise's essential factor quality decides the enterprise's technical ability,which decides the mode of the enterprise's technology overtaking manner.This paper compares the innovation performance between the alliance innovation and the independent innovation through the expanded A-J model,the results show that: when the Interprise's factor quality is relatively low,when factor quality of enterprise I low,the technical capability of the enterprise is relatively low,the enterprise should take alliance innovation to catch up;When the factor of the enterprise gets improved,the technical capacity is enhanced,the enterprise should choose the independent innovation to catch up.
