Abstract
Based on regional geology, earthquake geology and geological hazards information, combined with detailed field investigation, the risks of geological hazards of Changping electric transport line (S2 line) are evaluated by qualitative,semi-quantitative methods,it shows that there would be six sorts of geological hazards caused or intensified or suffered in the process of the construction project, including, ground subsidence, soil liquefaction, active faults, foundation slope instability, water inrush and bridges foundation instability. According to the results of the evaluation, prevention and control countermeasures against geological hazards are put forth so as to provide references for geological hazards prevention and mitigation, emergency rescue and similar engineering geological hazards evaluation.
