Abstract

Tao's residence is very plain and natural. His love-filled tone, his poetic description and his constant use of direction words in his depiction of an environment suggest that Tao is a self-conscious poet, and that my house is a self-selected symbol after his profound consideration on and affirmation of his identity and life. The way he addressed his residence indicates the relationship between the homeland consciousness of the Chinese people and the agricultural civilization and nature.
