Feasibility Study of Integrating Traditional Ethnic Sports with College Sports Teaching——A case study of some higher learning institutes in Sichuan

Sichuan is rich in traditional ethnic sports whether in terms ofsports form or in sports content,which can serve as a nice supplementary source to make up for the higher learning sports textbooks due to its disadvantages of too simplex,too much repetition and too much similative in content.The traditional ethic sports,as an organic carrier of traditional ethnic culture,is a rare,excellent source of teaching material for college sports lessons.In order to find out the possibility of conducting ethnic sports in colleges and universities,a survey is thus made among sports teachers,non-sports teachers,students and their parents as well so as to learn about the feasibility of doing this job.The finding tells us it is feasible to set up traditional ethnic sports items in colleges and universities.
