Abstract
Single factor tests and orthogonal design was applied to optimize the extraction technology of polyphenol from flower of Albizia julibrissin. The effects of solid to liquid ratio, volume fraction of ethanol, extraction time, and extraction temperature on the yield of polyphenol were investigated. And the nitrite scavenging activity of polyphenol was evaluated. The results showed that the influence of factors on the yield of polyphenol ranked as volume fraction of ethanol extraction timeextraction temperature solid to liquid ratio. The optimum extraction technology was established as follows, solid to liquid ratio,1∶25(m/V,g∶mL);volume fraction of ethanol,50%;extracting time,2 h;extraction temperature,70 ℃.The yield of polyphenol under these conditions was 2.59%.The scavenging rate of nitrite was 73.9% when polyphenol concentration was 6 μg/mL.
