Abstract

Progress of exploration was made in the north of Shiwu Fault Depression in Yingcheng Formation. But there were also lots of uncertain factors on oil and gas distribution and the major control factors of hydrocarbon accumulation, which lacked deep research.By using a lot of data of well logging, geophysical prospecting, analysis assay data, and sedimentary facies analysis, sand body prediction, source analysis, the characters of sandstone distribution, physical properties and facies belt control to hydrocarbon accumulation of the north area of Shiwu Fault Depression were analyzed. The fracture active stage and distribution and the control effect on hydrocarbon accumulation were also analyzed,it is considered that the hydrocarbon accumulation of Yingcheng Formation is mainly controlled by the hydrocarbon source rock distribution, the fan delta sand body distribution and multiple fracture system transporting. It exist large lithologic-physical strata reservoir as the main area for the next exploration.
