Abstract
The influences of reservoir heterogeneity, the viscosity of crude oil and formation rhythm on nitrogen foam flooding efficiency have been investigated at length by means of laboratory experiments and numerical simulation in light of Shengli oilfield's specific reservoir conditions. The operating parameters, including concentration of foaming agent solution, gas liquid injection ratio, foam injection volume and foam injection time, are optimized. The study shows that nitrogen foam flooding has excellent blocking ability and can improve the development performance of heterogeneous heavy oil reservoirs very well.Based on the results of laboratory test and simulation, the reservoir conditions which adapt to nitrogen foam flooding are presented. The results of this study have guidance to select suitable heavy oil reservoirs for nitrogen foam flooding in Shengli oilfield.
