Abstract
The paper describes the research on bioleaching of low-grade copper ore. The low-grade chalcopyrite separated from the mine is leached by bacteria that are highly active to Fe2+ and elemental sulfur in term of oxidation in a shaking bottle for 21 days, the recovery rate of copper from the ore is 26.8%; in case of column-type percolation leaching for 32 days, the recovery rate of copper from the ore is 14.5%.
