A Review on the Research of Happiness

In recent years,the research in the field of positive psychology area has become more prevalent.Researchers have studied the old fashioned topics such as happiness from several angles,including a definition of happiness,the differences between happiness and well-being,the source of happiness and the factors effecting happiness.The research shows that there are many contributing factors of happiness,including personality,social support,cognition,life goals,appearance,money and many other factors.They also claim they can prove that happiness can be learned in some way.However there also are many problems in the research like the confusion of the concepts,it is short of theory construction and the subjectivity of the methodology.As a result,the scientific conclusion about happiness cannot be made.Therefore,in the future,more attention must be paid to the scientific insight of the happiness research,either theory discussion or experimental methodology that can improve the happiness of people.
