Abstract
Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the herb of Kummerowia striata. Method: The compounds were isolated and purified by column chromatographic methods with Sephadex LH-20, silica gel,ODS and preparation HPLC. Their structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data. Result: Fourteen compounds were isolated and elucidated as quercetin-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside( 1), kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside( 2),apigenin-7-O-neohesperidoside( 3),apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside( 4),stigmasterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside( 5),quercetin( 6),quercetin-3-O-glucosideⅠ( 7),rutin( 8), luteolin( 9),apigenin( 10),kaempferol( 11),stigmasterol( 12),β-sitosterol( 13),daucosterol( 14), respectively. Conclusion: Compounds 1,5,7-9 and 11-14 were isolated from K. striata for the first time.
