Abstract
Four main risks in safety management of municipal solid waste landfill are summarized and analyzed, namely, methane explosion or fire risk, slope sliding risk caused by instability of landfill slope and dam, big safety risk during landfill operation and threat to surrounding environment from landfill. Taking the Xingfeng municipal solid waste landfill in Guangzhou as an example, three measures are brought forward to avoid the safety problems of the waste landfill, which are scientific design on landfill, perfect safety operation rules, regulated operation management and supervision.
