Disambiguation of Calendar in Lai Tripod Inscriptions

The study conducted by this paper shows that Lai(逨) tripod inscriptions YiMao(乙卯) of May the year forty-two is a mistake of Yichou(乙丑),and Jishengba(既生霸) of June the year forty-three is one day before the calendar.Lai(逨) tripod inscriptions of the year forty-two and forty-three are in full compliance with the year forty-two and forty-three of the reign of Li Wang(厉王),which are five and six years into the republic respectively in calendar(837 B.C.and 836 B.C.),and are totally different from Xuan Wang(宣王)'s corresponding calendar days.Therefor,Lai(逨) tripods belong to the period of Li Wang(厉王)who reigned for 37 years.Li Wang(厉王) Chronology included the 14 years of republican administration.
