Abstract

Objective :To observe the effect of eye acupuncture on the post-stroke depression. Methods : 156 cases of cerebral farction patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.80 cases in treatment group were treated with eye acupuncture and Neurstan 300 mg,3 times a day for 8 weeks.76 cases in control group were treated with Neurstan 300 mg,3 times a day for 6 weeks.Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD) was done for both 2 groups before treatment,4th and 8th week, observing the change of two groups. Results : After 8-month treatment, the total efficacy of treatment group and control group was 91.2%,81.6%,respectively.HAMD scale showed that the scores had difference between the treatment group and the control group with statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusion :Eye acupuncture treatment significantly improves the effect and has important clinical significance.
