Abstract
Spatial variability of the steady water infiltration rate and infiltration experiential index is studied with traditional statistics and Geo-statistics.The results show that both steady water infiltration rate and infiltration experiential index obey lognormal distribution. The soil property is imbued with spatial variation-structure,but it's not perfect for random variation, and there exists spatial correlation phenomenon in a limited range. The authors also use the Kriging interpolation technique to estimate the steady water infiltration rate and infiltration experiential index spatial distribution over the entire plot area.
