Abstract
Objective: To investigate quantitative changes of the anterior segment configuration after clear corneal incision phacoemulsification and foldable intraocular lens(IOL) implantation with anterior segment optical coherence tomography( AS-OCT). Methods: Clear corneal incision phacoemulsification and IOL implantation were performed in 46 eyes of 40 patients. The changes of the anterior segment configuration were recorded by AS-OCT before and in l day、1 week、l month and 2 month after surgery.Results: For all patients,the central corneal thickness( CCT) increased in 1 day after surgery( P 0. 05); after 1 week,the CCT returned to before surgery condition. And the incisional corneal thickness(ICT) increased in 1 day after surgery( P 0. 05); the ICT almost returned to baseline after 2months. The ACD and ACA increased significantly and remained stable in 1 day after surgery. Conclusions: AS-OCT can provide a clear image of anterior segment and changes of ACD and CA with high resolution,high sensitivity and no damage,it has bight aspect in clinical applications.
