Determination of Emodin and Chrysophanol in Chunchiqingwei pills by HPLC

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determination of Emodin and Chrysophanol in Chunchiqingwei pills by HPLC.METHODS A Zobax XDB-C18column was used.The mobile phase was Methanol-0.01% phosphoric acid(80∶20) and the detection wavelength was 254nm.RESULTS The linear range for Emodin and Chrysophanol was 0.01078~0.4312μg、0.02315~0.9260μg(r=0.9999),the average recovery was 98.7%、99.4%(n=9),RSD=1.5%、RSD=1.2%.CONCLUSION The method used for the determination of Emodin and Chrysophanol in Chunchiqingwei pill is simple,timesaving and accurate.
