Abstract

The single and joint toxic effects of different concentrations Cd2+ and Pb2+ on Ruditapes philippinarum were performed using half-static acute toxicity test under controlled laboratory conditions. The results showed that(1) the 96 h median lethal concentrations(96 h LC50) of Cd2+ and Pb2+ on R.philippinarum were 4.740 mg/L、31.116 mg/L,respectively,and the correspondingly safety concentrations(SC) were 0.677 mg/L and 1.844 mg/L respectively.Cd2+ presented higher toxicity compared to Pb2+ in the present study.(2) The joint toxic effects of Cd2+ and Pb2+ for different concentration ratio were the synergistic influences according to the changes of 24 h,48 h,96 h LC50.
