Abstract
Synthesis of super absorbent resin by graft copolymerization of cornstarch, acrylic acid and 2-hydroxyethylacrylate were studied. The effect of ratio of Acrylic acid to starch, acrylic and to 2-hydroxyethylacrylate,dosage of cross-linking agent and initiator in total raw materials, reaction temperature, reaction time were also examined. The adsorption amount of the resin for deionizing water and 0.9% NaCl solution is 560 g·g-1 and 62 g·g-1 and it has good keeping-water property and the liquid absorption rate.
