Abstract
Fractional flow reserve(FFR)measured by pressure wire is a new method of imageology. It has important clinical value in the diagnosis and therapy of coronary artery disease.Particularly in the evaluation of intermediate coronary artery stenosis,FFR can evaluate the relationships between myocardial ischemia and coronary artery stenosis accurately. As a available supplement of coronary angiography, pressure wire is a useful tool for the diagnosis and therapy of intermediate coronary artery stenosis. This article summarizes recent studies to give an overview of the role of pressure wire in the diagnosis and therapy of intermediate coronary artery disease.
