Simulation Research on Precise Orbit Determination for GIOVE-A

Abstract

Single satellite orbit determination results based on position and navigation data analyst software(PANDA) using the data received by 12 tracking stations are presented.By considering GPS precision orbits as space-time base,the precision coordinates,receivers clock,and ZTD parameters are estimated,and the orbit of one satellite of GPS as simulation satellite is computed.Difference of orbit compared with IGS precision orbit and LC residuals are derived to assess the orbit quality.The results show that the orbits are determined with an accuracy of about 10 cm in radial orbit component,and about 50 cm in 3D position.
