Abstract
The Characteristic climatal and geological conditions in the southern mountain area of AnHui province led to the rich diversity, especially in wild edible plants. Nowadays, wild edible plants are focused on as a kind of nutrent, natural and healthy food by people. This paper gives a general view of the wild edible plant resources in the southern moutain area of AnHui Province, and offers several suggestions on how to protect and ultilize these precious resources.
