Abstract
The flow fields of Kenics type static mixers and GK type static mixers were respectively calculated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).The result of numerical simulation shows that the turbulence of Kenics type static mixers is stronger than that of GK type static mixers,it leads to conclusion that the flow resistance and heat transfer coefficient of Kenics type static mixers are higher than those of GK type static mixers. The pressure drop of GK type static mixers is about 0.554~0.579 of the pressure drop of Kenics type static mixers, the heat transfer membrane coefficients of the two mixers are not obvious, the comprehensive performance of GK type static mixers is high.
