Abstract
Through analyzing the impact of density on maize growth and development,the principle and method for breeding of high density tolerant maize inbred lines and hybrid varieties.It was pointed out that the dense resistant corn should have many excellent characters such as compact plant type,developed root system,stem strength and high resistance to main disease in maize planting region,which will provide reference basis for high density tolerant maize breeding.
