Technological complexity and the impact on organizational structure

Abstract

This Article discusses the concept and the classifier methods of the technological complexity. It is presented that product complexity and process complexity impact the structural dimensions on organiations, such as centralization, formalization, complexity, horizontal differentiation, and vertical differentiation. According to the trends of technological complexity, the authors consider that the organizational structure in the future is organism.
