Abstract

The virtual design is the inevitable development trend of the mechanism design.This paper simply states the powerful function of UG,which is a large-scale integrated CAD/CAE/CAM software.By combining with the example of the piston pump design,the paper introduces the virtual design method to make use of UG to carry on modeling,assembly and finite element analysis.
